Jet Jurgensmeyer Becomes “One of the Boys” with Patients in Dallas

Little did Jet Jurgensmeyer know that when he visited Seacrest Studios in Dallas, he would wind up attempting to say the tongue twister, “she sees cheese” ten times fast and humming “24 Karat Magic” in a crazy musical guessing game.

The 15-year-old actor/singer/songwriter with such TV acting credits as Bobby Anderson in Disney Channel’s “Adventures in Babysitting,” would find himself to be just another one of the boys as he sat and spent some on-screen time with three delighted patients, answering questions, swapping jokes and telling stories. Jet was a humble and gracious guest and gave the patients his full attention. He also shared his wonderful sense of humor and explained how he got his start as a musician.

A Nashville native, Jet is not only a hard-working actor in TV and film, but an accomplished singer/songwriter as well. Before his visit ended, he treated the guests in the studio, and all those watching from their room, to his latest song, “Parachute,” as well as a couple of his other favorites, “Everything Will Be Alright” and “Just Another Moment Away.”

His visit ended with one-on-one time with the patients in the studio, personalized autographs, and best of all… sincere fist bumps.
