Families and patients at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center were delighted to meet award winning, country singer Dierks Bentley.

Dierks is currently on tour across the United States but took time away from his summer tour to sit down and answer some patients’ burning questions. Charlie learned that Dierks loves fishing just as much he does while Dierks revealed he has his pilot’s license and owns a single engine plane. We found out about his favorite hobbies like going to the beach and playing with his dogs at home. He also talked about how he has had to adjust to the cold winters since moving to Nashville, but still enjoys summer the most. A highlight of the visit was when LeAnne, a patient asked about funny tour stories involving his kids. He got a huge laugh from his kids favorite question “Does Jon Pardi like to party?” referring to his tour mate.

Dierks went on to play one of the studio’s favorite games “This or That?” We timed him to see how quickly he could decide between two choices. This game revealed that he loves dogs and Coca-Cola but he couldn’t choose between ice cream or cake. While he might have a sweet tooth, perhaps the sweetest moment was when he sang one of his hit songs “Riser” to a patient who participated by phone.

Amazing memories were created throughout his visit. Thank you Dierks, for spending part of your day with us, we had a blast!
