Kimberly Schlapman Brings Stories to Life in Seacrest Studios

Written by Seacrest Studios Manager, Mamie Shepherd

There were a lot of "Happy People" inside Seacrest Studios at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt when Little Big Town singer, Kimberly Schlapman, made a special holiday visit! The Grammy, ACM, CMA, People’s Choice, and Emmy-Award winning singer visited with patients in Nashville and answered questions like, “What do you do when you’re nervous?”

Patients sat spellbound while Schlapman read her children’s book, (a true story) “A Dolly for Christmas,” with a resounding message that if you believe it, it can come true! After a round of “Never Have I Ever: Holiday Edition,” we learned that Kimberly HAS early peeked at her Christmas presents before and has watched a holiday movie in July!

Thank you, Kimberly, for “putting a smile on our faces,” and for sharing this beautiful story. Can’t wait to have you back again soon!
