Musicians On Call jumped off Santa's sleigh to spread some holiday cheer in Seacrest Studios at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt with global country music stars, Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans!
The husband and wife duo, recognized separately and together in the country music world, were greeted in the studio by an audience full of patients and families who could not believe their good fortune in getting a private concert.
Musicians On Call’s mission is to bring the healing power of music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. Seacrest Studios in Nashville is an extension of MOC's virtual bedside program. Introduced by MOC President and CEO, Pete Griffin, Kelsea and Morgan sang a few holiday favorites as well as their hit songs, “Peter Pan,” and “Diamonds” before meeting patients and taking pictures with them.
True to their reputation as friendly stars, the couple answered patient questions like “what’s the longest you have ever left your tree up?” and “what was the best gift you ever received?” (A guitar was the best gift for both.)
Kelsea debuted her new track "club" on the E! People's Choice Awards program back in November. Her appearance with superstar, Halsey, is set for broadcast on CMT Crossroads in early 2020. Ballerini has toured with Kelly Clarkson and Keith Urban and has a following that now includes children who are undergoing medical treatment in Nashville.
International music star, and husband, Morgan Evans, is climbing the music charts as well. The native Australian who married Ballerini two years ago was recently named one of Country Radio Seminar's elite "New Faces of Country Music." He has a GOLD-certified #1 hit titled "Kiss Somebody" that audiences cannot get enough of!
What a treat for patients to get to hear BOTH of these artists!
Thank you to Musicians On Call, Kelsea, and Morgan, for bringing the healing power of music to Seacrest Studios and for making our holidays merry and bright! Love You Like We Mean It!
