Patients At Seacrest Studios Clown Around With The Ringling Bros.

With the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus in town, patients at Children’s Hospital of Orange County were caught clowning around in Seacrest Studios with three clowns performing in Ringling’s Built to Amaze show. Taylor, Genevieve (“G”) and Julio helped bring smiles to the patient’s faces by performing magic tricks, juggling acts and skit comedy. Taylor, the Boss Clown, took time to explain to everyone the history of clowns, and we learned there are many different types of clowns! Taylor is an expert at the tight rope, learning the skill in only three days. “G” told us that the tigers she trains never get out of line but that we should watch out for the poodles. Julio, who is from Brazil, gave an amazing magic show to the patients making a cell phone disappear into thin air!

Ringling Bros. has clowns and performers from 17 different countries performing in four different shows, which travel throughout the world. Built to Amaze, the show in which these three clowns perform, is full of magnificent elephants, ferocious tigers, astonishing acrobats and awe-inspiring aerialists all wrapped into one performance. Thank you to Ringling Bros., Taylor, Julio and “G” for making their visit over the top!
