Patients Celebrate 'The Nocturnals' With Face Painting & Crafts In Seacrest Studios D.C.

Three unlikely friends from The Nocturnals made a special trip across the country to Washington D.C. and brought smiles to the patients and families at Children’s National

Dawn the fox, Tobin the pangolin, and Bismark the pint-sized sugar glider stopped by Seacrest Studios for a fun day filled with arts and crafts, face-painting, games, and a Skype meet-and-greet with The Nocturnals author, Tracey Hecht. With more than 30 patients and families in the studio, The Nocturnals team went above and beyond to entertain each and every visitor!

They brought along giveaways which included all 3 of the books in the series as well as cute stuffed animals. They even had artists on call for face painting, transforming patients to look just like the fun characters from the books!

The team brought along other crafts as well as games for patients to play. To top off their visit, The Nocturnals author, Tracey Hecht, was in another country but made a Skype call into the studio and spoke to patients in Seacrest Studios as well as up in their rooms.

The day with The Nocturnals team was one that our patients and families will never forget, and we hope they can visit Children’s National again soon!
