Pip Arnold Spreads Holiday Cheer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta!

Pip Pip Hooray!!!! The patients, parents, and staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta were definitely cheering for Pip Arnold, contestant on NBC’s The Voice, when he stopped at Seacrest Studios for a visit during the holidays.

Accompanied by his high school friend and guitarist, Pip came and sang several songs to help put patients in the holiday spirit. This young musical sensation gave us some insight into what auditioning for The Voice is like. He said there are many rounds contestants go through before actually making it on the show.

Once there, it is hard to win over all four celebrity judges but that is just what Arnold did, convincing all four judges to turn around and vie for Pip’s talent on their team. He had a tough decision to make! “They cut it down on television but it was actually quite long - I was up there for a while because they were all trying to yell at me to go with them, and yelling at each other. But eventually, Adam [Levine] just kind of sold himself the best and I could tell he really knew what he wanted to do with me and go in the right direction with me.” Pip said he still stays in touch with contestants from season 2 of The Voice. Now that he lives in LA, he is able to get to know the other singers on a whole new level. Pip’s new EP was released on January 4th. He brought copies of his CD to our studio and signed them for the patients who came to hear him sing!

We wish Pip the best of luck and can’t wait to hear, and see, more of this rising star in 2013!
