The Top 11 American Idol Contestants Stop By The Voice at CHOA

'The Voice' studio at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) was the place to be on Monday! The children at the hospital were visited by not one, but eleven special celebrity guests! The Top 11 American Idol nominees paid a visit to 'The Voice' to talk about their summer concert tour, perform songs for the kids, and do interviews on the closed circuit radio system within the hospital. All of the patients were so happy to see Casey Abrams, Scotty McCreery, Thia Megia, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Lauren Alaina, Paul McDonald, Naima Adedapo, Stefano Langone, Haley Reinhart, and Pia Toscano.

Crowds formed outside of the studio hoping to get a peek at the fabulous 'Idol' crooners. Lauren Alaina showed her support for Idol's past by singing along to "The Time of My Life" by David Cook and sweetly denied rumors that she and Scotty McCreery are dating. We're still a little suspicious though!

When all of these talented musicians get together, it's very obvious how much they care about each other. Constantly laughing, complimenting, and poking fun at each other, this group of eleven seems more like a close knit family than a group of contestants on a talent show. The Idol's all talked candidly about life on the road, confessing that although it's fun, it can be exhausting. But of course, none of them would trade this experience for anything.

For these musical contestants, being on tour is the ultimate reward. For Pia Toscano, especially, performing on the Idol tour is a dream come true. She and a few of the other contestants admitted that they had to try out multiple times to finally be accepted onto the show. Pia's undying commitment to accomplishing her dream sent a message of strength and perseverance to the children at CHOA. The message from these courageous singers serves as inspiration for the patients to never give up on their dreams, a message that is invaluable for these kids.

The 'Idols' visit to The Voice was an exciting event for the patients at CHOA! The encouragement and positive energy imparted by the contestants was palpable during the event. As she was leaving, Lauren even gave out her phone number to one of the kids letting her know that it was okay to call anytime! How sweet!
