Seacrest Studios at Levine Children’s Hospital was ready to rumble during their virtual Smackdown with WWE Superstars Drew McIntyre and Charlotte Flair! Several of our patients even jumped in the virtual ring to learn more about the champions.
It was a glam slam talking about our DJ’s awesome capes and costumes, and we even got to learn more about Charlotte Flair’s favorite costume. The robe from her first match was red and covered in stones and gems, and what made it more special was that parts of it were from one of her father’s old wrestling robes, professional wrestler Ric Flair.
When DJ Merenator asked about their biggest supporters, Charlotte Flair and one of our patients bonded over the support of their parents. Charlotte’s father is one of her greatest inspirations in her career, along with being one of her major supporters. Our patient explained how his mom was his greatest supporter and always takes care of him when he’s not feeling well. It was a great reminder of how important family is and how we should always support one another!
Our furry friends were brought into the match when Drew talked about his two cats, Chaz and Hunter, who would have definitely been friends with one of our patients six dogs. Nobody could stop laughing when he told us one of his cats is 20 pounds and helps him practice his defense by throwing play paw punches! By the end of the match we didn’t want to tap out, but we definitely all felt like WWE Champions!
